Here at Dowling, we have a zero tolerance to rental arrears; this also includes water usage payments. We have a system in place through our Real Estate software, where a tenant is automatically sent an SMS should their rent fall even one (1) day behind. From there, if the tenant does not make a payment, we follow this up with a phone call, letter and a visit to the property if necessary. Should the tenants rent or water usage fall 14 days overdue, a 14 day Termination Notice is hand delivered to the property.
